Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Accountant to join our team in the export industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with export-related financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements, in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
2. Tax Compliance: Handle tax matters, such as GST, Income Tax, TDS, EPF, ESI, Drawbacks, customs duties, and tax laws, ensuring the company adheres to all tax regulations and deadlines.
3. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage the processing of accounts payable and receivable, including coordinating payments with international suppliers and customers, and reconciling any discrepancies.
4. Financial Analysis: Provide insightful financial analysis and forecasts, helping the management team make informed decisions related to export pricing, cost control, and profitability.
5. Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain and organize financial records and documentation for regulatory reporting and audits. Document financial transactions by entering account information.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, logistics, and sales teams to ensure that export shipments, payments, and financials are accurately recorded.
8. Books of Accounts: Maintain books of accounts as per Indian accounting standards.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Experience: 3–5 years of accounting experience, with a strong understanding of export industry practices and Indian trade regulations.
